be open to the public, properly noticed and held at a location <br />to be provided by the County. Minutes will be taken of all <br />meetings and will be provided by the County; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the INDIAN RIVER COUNTY PUBLIC <br />SAFETY ADVISORY COMMITTEE will serve in an advisory capacity <br />and no decisions or recommendations made by the Committee <br />will be binding. At the request of the Sheriff and/or the <br />County Commission, the INDIAN RIVER COUNTY PUBLIC SAFETY ADVISORY <br />COMMITTEE will submit recommendations on matters relating to <br />law enforcement and public safety, such as: <br />Jail Construction; <br />Jail Operation; <br />Uniformity of Law Enforcement; <br />Efficiency of Law Enforcement Operation; <br />Crime Prevention; <br />Traffic Safety; <br />Civil Defense; <br />911 Emergency System <br />and any other matters involving public safety and law enforcement; <br />and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the INDIAN RIVER COUNTY PUBLIC <br />SAFETY ADVISORY COMMITTEE shall be established by vote of the <br />Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, <br />and may be dissolved in the same manner. <br />Said Resolution shall become effective as of the <br />day of March , 1981. <br />Freda Wright, Cle <br />MAR 111981 <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF <br />INDIIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />BOOK 46 PAGE 13 <br />
