<br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED THE MEETING TO ORDER AND ANNOUNCED IT
<br />WAS BEING HELD FOR THE PURPOSE OF HOLDING A PUBLIC HEARING RE THE
<br />OPERATION AND PRESENT STATUS OF THE TREASURE COAST UTILITIES FRANCHISE.

<br />as second class mail matter at the post office in Vero Beach, in said Indian River County, Florida
<br />for a period of one year next preceeding the first publication of the attached copy of adver-
<br />tiserrent; and affiant further says that he has neither paid nor promised any person, firm or
<br />corporation any discount, rebate, commission or refund for the purpose of securing this adver-
<br />tisement for publication in the said newspaper.

<br />chise is in the public interest. The County Commission will
<br />meet on March 16th, 1981, at 7:00 P.M., in the City Council
<br />Chambers at City Holl, Vero Beach, Florida, to accept
<br />testimony, from state agency representatives and in-
<br />terested citizens, particularly those within the franchise
<br />area, Whispering Palms SubdIVIion and Dixie Gardens
<br />Subdivision. The Board of CountY'Commissioners will then
<br />determine, based upon the .testi r> any, whether to limit or
<br />restrict the franchise or terminate and cancel the same in
<br />whole or in part if proper reasons therefor are found by
<br />the Board. t w>
<br />If any person decides to appeal any decision made on
<br />the above matter, he will need a record of the pro-
<br />ceedings, and for such purposes he may need to insure
<br />that a'verbatim record of the pr eedin- is made, which
