ARTICLE 8 OWNER'S RESPONSIBILITIES <br />SC -8.02 Delete paragraph 8.02 of the General Conditions in its entirety and replace with the <br />following <br />If Owner terminates the employmentof Engineer, Owner may appoint another engineer whose <br />status under the Contract Documents shall be that of the former Engineer. <br />SC -8.04 Delete paragraph, 8.04 of the General Conditions _in its entirety and replace with the following: __ _ <br />9� <br />Payments under this contract are governed by the Local Government Prompt Payment Act, Florida <br />Statutes section 218.70 et. seq., <br />SC -8.06 <br />Delete paragraph 8.06 of the General Conditions in its entirety. <br />SC -8.11 <br />Delete paragraph 8.11 of the General Conditions in its entirety. <br />ARTICLE 9 - ENGINEER'S STATUS DURING CONSTRUCTION <br />SC 9.02 Delete the first sentence of paragraph 9.03A of the General Conditions in its entirety and <br />replace with the following: <br />A. Engineer will make visits to the Site at intervals appropriate to the various stages of construction <br />as Engineer deems necessary in order to observe as an experienced and qualified Engineer the <br />progress that has been made and the quality_of the various aspects of Contractor's executed Work. <br />SC -9.03A <br />Add the following new paragraph immediately after paragraph 9.03A of the General Conditions <br />which is to read as follows: <br />B. Engineer will furnish a part-time Resident Project Representative. Contractor is responsible to <br />give 24-hour notice on all required inspections so that the Resident Project Representative may be <br />present. <br />SC 9.04 A Delete the third sentence of paragraph 9.04A of the General Conditions in its entirety and <br />replace with the following: <br />However, if Contractor claims entitlement to additional time or money as a result of the Field Order, <br />such entitlement is conditioned upon obtaining a Change Order authorized and executed by Owner <br />after timely making a Claim as provided in the Contract Documents. <br />SC 9.08-A: <br />Delete the second sentence of 9.08A of the General Conditions in its entirety and replace with the <br />following: <br />00800-10 <br />
