SECTION 01090 <br />PART 1 -- GENERAL REFERENCE STANDARDS <br />1.01 REQUIREMENTS INCLUDED <br />Abbreviations and acronyms used in Contract Documents to identify reference <br />standards. <br />1.02 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. Application: When a standard is specified by reference, comply with <br />requirements and recommendations stated in that standard, except when <br />requirements are modified by the Contract Documents or applicable codes <br />establish stricter standards. <br />B. Publication Date: The publication in effect on the date of issue of Contract <br />Documents, except when a specific publication date is specified. <br />1.03 ABBREVIATIONS, NAMES, AND ADDRESSES OR ORGANIZATIONS <br />A. Obtain copies of reference standards direct from publication source, when <br />needed for proper performance of work, or when required for submittal by <br />Contract Documents. <br />B.
