The top of the base course shall be constructed <br />flush with the adjacent asphalt surface. Upon completion of the base <br />construction, it shall be primed and sanded in accordance with FDOT <br />Specifications, Section 300, Articles 300-1 through 300-6. Prime shall be applied <br />at the rate of 0.50 gallon per square yard, or as directed by the Engineer. <br />B.
