Funds are provided by <br />the levying of special assessments. <br />To account for boat registration fees which may be used for <br />providing recreational channel marking, public launching <br />facilities, and other boating -related activities. <br />To account for bequests to the Indian River County Library <br />to be used for improvements to the Main and North County <br />Libraries. <br />To account for fines assessed against individuals for illegal <br />use of handicapped parking spaces. <br />To account for expenditures of funds for stormwater <br />improvements in the East Gifford Watershed. Funds are <br />provided by non -ad valorem taxes. <br />To account for the rehabilitation or replacement of housing <br />units in the Gifford area.
