MAY 119911 <br />M I N U T -E S <br />of <br />BOARD OF TRUSTEES <br />';INDIAN RIVER COUNTY HOSPITAL DISTRICT <br />-SPECIAL CALLED MEETING <br />April 15, 1990 <br />BQOK <br />The special galled meeting of the Board of Trustees, Indian River <br />County Hospital District, was called to order by Chairman Sorensen <br />on Tuesday, April 15, 1980, at 12:10 P.M. <br />Guests <br />Press <br />1.0 MOTION made by Mr. Neville, seconded by Mr. Ballard, that: <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Indian River County <br />Hospital District, owns and operates the Indian River Memorial <br />Hospital at 1000 36th Street, Vero Beach, Indian River County, <br />Florida; and <br />WHEREAS, quick access to the hospital from all areas of Indian <br />River County is essential in order to -insure that critically <br />ill or injured patients receive medical assistance at the <br />earliest possible time; and <br />WHEREAS, the completion of Indian River Boulevard north of <br />Royal Palm Boulevard to Barber Avenue would significantly <br />decrease the time required for many of the residents of Indian <br />River County to get to the hospital and receive emergency <br />medical care; and <br />WHEREAS, the inability to receive prompt medical care at the <br />hospital could result in the death of a critically ill or <br />injured person or minimize, the chance of a complete recovery <br />from such illness or injury. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees of <br />the Indian River County Hospital District that the Board of <br />County Commissioners of Indian River County are requested to <br />t <br />Trustees <br />Mr. <br />J.
