take all steps necessary to complete construction of Indian <br />River Boulevard north of Royal Palm Boulevard north of Royal <br />Palm Boulevard to Barber Avenue in order to minimize the time <br />required for critically ill or injured persons to get to the <br />hospital to receive emergency medical care. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees of the <br />Indian River County Hospital District shall lend its assistance <br />to the Board of County Commissioners as necessary to facilitate <br />the completion of Indian River Boulevard. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the legislative delegation serving <br />Indian River County be advised of the necessity for the prompt <br />completionlof Indian River Boulevard and be requested to <br />render all assistance to the Board of County Commissioners <br />of Indian River County and the Board of Trustees of the Indian <br />River County Hospital District necessary to accomplish this <br />much needed project. <br />Motion carried with Doctor McCrystal abstaining. <br />'2.0. MOTION made by Mr. Ballard, seconded by Mr. Neville, requesting <br />Administration to pursue this subject locally for the purpose <br />of educating the public of its importance and obtain, if possible, <br />the support of the civic groups to reinforce our intentions on <br />this subject. Motion carried. <br />3.0 MOTION made by Mr. Neville, seconded by Mr. Ballard, that the <br />meeting be adjourned at 12:40 P.M.
