3. Recommendation and Funding. <br />It is the recommendation of the staff and the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission that a date for public hearing on this item be set for <br />the June 17th meeting of the County Commission. The only funding <br />requirement is for advertising, which is the responsibility of the <br />County. <br />4. Distribution. <br />This request is for the setting of a hearing date on the CIE <br />Ordinance. Available materials are provided for the County <br />Administrator, Counity Commission and the County Attorney. Other <br />copies will be distributed to County departments and TRC members <br />for review and comment, upon receiving approval for a hearing date. <br />5. Attachments. <br />A. -The proposed Community Impact Evaluation Ordinance. <br />B. Nelson REFERENCES: <br />County Administrator <br />_ In order to assure timely installation of a quality sound system in the new - <br />County Commission - Chambers at the County Administration Building, the Administration <br />requests Board approval to_proceed with solicitation of bids -for the proposed <br />system. <br />In conjunction with local, qualified sound engineers, -the Administration has had <br />detailed system specifications developed to assure.a quality -sound system for the <br />Commission room. Among the objectives of the system design.are: <br />A. Professional quality sound to permit high quality recording and -to -reduce <br />listener/speaker fatigue -during long Commission:meeti.ng_s. <br />B. Prevention -of audio feedback. <br />C.. Use of a single, high quality speaker array to direct sound -toward the audiance <br />from the Commission table -rather than from the -walls on each side of the <br />Chamber. <br />
