SECTION 01721 <br />AS -BUILT SURVEY <br />PART 1 - GENERAL_ <br />1.01 REQUIREMENTS <br />An "As -Built" survey prepared, signed and sealed by a Land Surveyor licensed in the State of <br />Florida shail be provided by the Contractor prior to project close-out. The As -Built shall <br />illustrate the horizontal and vertical location of all pipe, fittings, valves, and service <br />connections installed as part of this project. The As -Built shall illustrate the location of pipe <br />abandoned "in place." <br />The As -Built shall contain at least two (2) points identified with reference to State Plan <br />Coordinates. All fittings, valves, and service connections shall be labeled with horizontal <br />reference to the FDOT Construction Baseline (station and offset), and vertical reference to the <br />North American Vertical Datum (NAVD, '1988). <br />1.02 RELATED REQUIREMENTS <br />A. Section 1.11050: Field Engineering <br />B. Section 01300: Submittals <br />C. Section 01381: Audio -Visual Documentation <br />D. Section 01052: Application for Payment <br />1.03 SUBMITTAL <br />A. At contract close-out, deliver record documents listed in paragraph 1.01 to the Engineer <br />for the Owner. The As -Built Survey shall be submitted in the following formats: <br />1. Eight (8) Signed, Sealed hard copies, <br />2. One (1) copy - Mylar, <br />3. One (1) Compact Disk (CD) - AutoCAD v.2004 (or later) format. <br />The required field engineering submittals certified by a registered land surveyor are <br />listed in Section 01050. <br />B. Accompany submittal with transmittal letter in duplicate, containing: <br />1. Date <br />2. Project title and number <br />3. Contractor's name and address <br />4. Title and number of each record document <br />5.
