332 <br />FRIDAY, OCTOBER 31st 1934. <br />The Board of County Commissioners in and for Indian River County, Florida, met at <br />the Court House in Vero Beach, at 2 o'olock P.M. with the following members of the Board <br />present: Albert 0. Helseth, Chairman; J.D.Yongue; J.W.DaBruce; J.J.P.Hamilton and John <br />H. Atkin. Also present were Miles Warren, Clerk and Clark B. Rice, :sheriff. <br />It was ordered that the name of George Nelson, stricken from the Registration books <br />of precinct #2, Sebastian, be restored it appearing that he had not removed from the <br />County. <br />The County Engineer was instructed to furnish the Sheriff a truck to haul bums <br />through the County. <br />The County Assessor of Taxes submitted the Tax rolls on real estate, and on auto- <br />mobiles to the Board of County Commissioners, and were examined, and approved, and the <br />following warrant was annexed to the tax roill on real estate and personal property, to - <br />wit: - <br />THE STATE OF FLORIDA <br />To Gordon R. Olmstead.9 <br />Tax Collector of the County of Indian River <br />You are hereby commanded to collect out of the Real Estate and personal <br />property, and from each of the persons and corporation named in the annexed roll' the <br />taxes set down in each roll opposite each name' corporation or parcel of land therein <br />described, and in case taxes so imposed are not paid at the time prescribed, by law, <br />you are to collect the same by 'levy and sale of the goods and chattels lands and ten- <br />ements so assessed, or of the person or corporation so taxed; and all sums colle ctdd <br />for the State taxes you are to pay to the State Treasure at such time as may be required <br />b:t law, and at the some time you are to pay to the legally qualified depositors all sums <br />collected for County Taxes, district School Taxes and othe-r special taxes; and you are <br />further required to make all collections on or before the first Monday in April; and on <br />or before the first Monday in July you are to make a final report to and settlement with <br />the Comibtarc.l&ur and County Commi s si one rs e <br />Given under my hand seal this the 31sto day of October in the year A.
