ESF #6 Mass Care — North Treasure Coast Chapter of the <br />American Red Cross <br />To manage and coordinate shelters, feeding and first aid for disaster <br />victims. <br />ESF #7 Resource Support - Indian River County Department of <br />Emergency Services, Emergency Management Division <br />To secure resources through mutual aid agreements, or procure <br />resources for other ESFs as needed. <br />ESF #8 Health & Medical Services - Indian River County Health <br />Department <br />To identify health and medical needs, provide trained health and <br />medical personnel, and to provide supplies and emergency facilities in <br />the affected area, as well as in shelters. <br />ESF #9 Urban Search and Rescue - Indian River County <br />Department of Emergency Services, Fire Rescue Division <br />The Fire Services Division is the lead agency for locating, extricating <br />and providing emergency assistance to victims trapped in debris or <br />wreckage created by the disaster. <br />ESF #10 Hazardous Materials - Indian River County <br />Environmental Health Department <br />To provide inspection, containment, and cleanup of hazardous <br />materials accidents or releases. <br />ESF #11 Food and Water - Indian River County Department of <br />Emergency Services, Emergency Management Division and the <br />North Treasure Coast Chapter of the American Red Cross <br />To coordinate with ESF #6 to identify the food and water needs of <br />disaster victims, and to ensure that supplies of food and water (or <br />vouchers to obtain them locally where possible) are provided. <br />ESF #12 Energy and Utilities - Indian River County Utilities <br />Department <br />To coordinate and direct the restoration of water, sewer, electrical <br />power and phone service. <br />ESF #13 Military Support - Florida National Guard <br />To coordinate RIAT assignments and National Guard resources to <br />assist in the ESFs where needed. <br />Indian River County Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan Basic Page 61 <br />
