e. Provide a coordinator, to serve as chairman of the <br />HMTF, when an incident requires a multi -agency <br />response, and the agency is designated as the primary <br />operational agency. <br />2.3.5 Department of Natural Resources <br />a. When pollutants, as defined in Section 376.031(7), <br />Florida Statutes, are determined to be discharged into <br />navigable waters within the geographic responsibility of <br />the United States Coast Guard, the State response <br />shall be as provided in the Florida Coastal Pollutant <br />Spill Plan, as approved by the Governor and Cabinet, <br />pursuant to Sections 376.05 and 376.07, Florida <br />Statutes. <br />b. Provide manpower and logistical support from any state <br />park, or recreational area, that is directly affected by a <br />hazardous material incident. <br />C. Provide traffic supervision and control for water <br />transportation routes adversely affected by a hazardous <br />materials incident. <br />2.3.6 Department of Transportation <br />a. Coordinate activities between public/private agencies <br />on matters relating to public transit. <br />b. Provide public transportation services where emergency <br />services are required. <br />C. Support county highway/road departments in securing <br />and installing barricades, signs, and other necessary <br />equipment needed for traffic control. <br />d. Coordinate traffic management activities in and around <br />the affected area. <br />e. Coordinate movement of emergency resources to and <br />from the designated area. <br />f.
