INDIAN RIVER COUNTY JULY 25, 2014 <br />INTERGENERATIONAL RECREATION CENTER 100% CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS <br />1. Minimum Compressive Strength: As indicated on drawings at 28 days. <br />2. Maximum Water-Cementitious Materials Ratio: As indicated on drawings. <br />3. Slump Limit: As indicated on drawings. <br />4. Air Content: 6 percent, plus or minus 1.5 percent at point of delivery for 3/4 -inch nominal <br />maximum aggregate size. <br />B. Slabs -on -Grade: Proportion normal -weight concrete mixture as follows: <br />1. Minimum Compressive Strength: As indicated on drawings at 28 days. <br />2. Minimum Cementitious Materials Content: 540 Ib/cu. yd. <br />3. Slump Limit: As indicated on drawings. <br />4. Air Content: 6 percent, plus or minus 1.5 percent at point of delivery for 3/4 -inch nominal <br />maximum aggregate size. <br />5. Air Content: Do not allow air content of trowel -finished floors to exceed 3 percent. <br />6. Steel -Fiber Reinforcement: Add to concrete mixture, according to manufacturer's written <br />instructions, at a rate of 50 Ib/cu. yd. <br />C. Suspended Slabs: Proportion normal -weight concrete mixture as follows: <br />1. Minimum Compressive Strength: As indicated at 28 days. <br />2. Minimum Cementitious Materials Content: 540 Ib/cu. yd. <br />3. Slump Limit: As indicated on drawings. <br />4. Retain one or more of first three subparagraphs below. Percentages in options in first <br />two subparagraphs are default air contents required by ACI 301 for severe exposure. <br />5.
