Drawings and general provisions of the Contract, including General and Supplementary <br />Conditions and Division 01 Specification Sections, apply to this Section. <br />1.2 DESCRIPTION <br />A. This specification is to cover a complete Variable Frequency motor Drive (VFD) consisting of a <br />pulse width modulated (PWM) inverter designed for use with a standard NEMA Design B <br />induction motor. <br />B. The drive manufacturer shall supply the drive and all necessary options, specified. The <br />manufacturer shall have been engaged in the production of this type of equipment for a <br />minimum of ten years.
