INDIAN RIVER COUNTY JULY 25, 2014 <br />INTERGENERATIONAL RECREATION CENTER 100% CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS <br />1.4 INFORMATIONAL SUBMITTALS <br />A. Qualification Data: For qualified manufacturer. <br />B. Product Test Reports: Based on evaluation of comprehensive tests performed by a qualified <br />testing agency, for wood athletic flooring system. <br />1.5 CLOSEOUT SUBMITTALS <br />A. Maintenance Data: For wood athletic flooring and finish systems to include in maintenance <br />manuals. <br />1.6 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. Manufacturer Qualifications: A qualified manufacturer that is certified for chain -of -custody <br />certification by an FSC -accredited certification body. <br />B. Installer Qualifications: A firm or individual that has been approved by MFMA as an accredited <br />Installer according to the MFMA Accreditation Program. <br />C. Installer Qualifications: An experienced Installer who has completed wood athletic flooring <br />installations similar in material, design, and extent to that indicated for this Project and whose <br />work has resulted in installations with a record of successful in-service performance. <br />1. Installer responsibilities include installation and field finishing of wood athletic flooring <br />components and accessories, and application of game lines and markers. <br />D. Maple Flooring: Comply with MFMA grading rules for species, grade, and cut. <br />1. Certification: Provide flooring that carries MFMA mark on each bundle or piece. <br />E. Mockups: Build mockups to verify selections made under Sample submittals and to demonstrate <br />aesthetic effects and set quality standards for fabrication and installation. <br />1. To set quality standards for installation, install mockup of floor area as shown on <br />Drawings. <br />2. Prepare finished mockup of floor area as shown on Drawings to set quality standards for <br />sanding and application of field finishes and game lines and markers. <br />3. Approval of mockups does not constitute approval of deviations from the Contract <br />Documents contained in mockups unless Architect specifically approves such deviations <br />in writing. <br />4. Approved mockups may become part of the completed Work if undisturbed at time of <br />Substantial Completion. <br />1.7 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING <br />A.
