ADDENDUM NO. 3 11/5/2014 <br />SECTION 00026 - SITE LIGHTING <br />The work specified in this item shall conform to the plans, specifications and contract <br />documents. <br />Item of Payment <br />Payment for the work specified in this item shall be made under: <br />Bid Item No. 82 — Site Lighting (Poles, Fixtures and Wiring) (Complete per Plan <br />Specifications and Contract Documents) — Per Lump Sum <br />SECTION 00027 - WATER AND SEWER UTILITIES <br />A. Water Utilities <br />The work to be performed for all utility work shall conform to the applicable technical <br />specifications of Indian River County Department of Utility Services, Water, <br />Wastewater, Utility Standards Dated March, 2014. <br />This document can be obtained at www.ircutilities.com <br />B. Sewer Utilities <br />The sewer utilities for this project shall be constructed per the "Indian River County <br />Technical Specifications", March, 2014. This document can be obtained at <br />www.ircutilities.com <br />C. Earthwork and Backfill <br />Compaction -All fill must be compacted by hand tamping from under the pipe up to the <br />center line. Backfill shall be compacted in 6" lifts up to the surface to achieve a <br />minimum compaction of 98 percent of maximum density in roadways and shoulders <br />and 95 percent in easements, in accordance with AASHTO T-180 and D-2167. <br />D. Ductile Iron Pipe and Fittings <br />1. General: <br />All ductile iron pipe shall be manufactured in accordance with AWWA <br />Specifications C-150 & C-151. All buried ductile iron pipe shall be <br />manufactured in accordance with AWWA Specification C-151 and shall <br />be Class 52 minimum. All exposed ductile iron pipe shall be Class 53 <br />minimum. <br />2. Fittings: <br />2 All underground fittings shall be either bell and spigot, or mechanical <br />joint. Mechanical joints shall conform to AWWA specification C1IO <br />(ANSI 21.10-87), or latest revision.
