FINAL PLAT APPROVAL_GENE�_--S-uBDIVISION <br />THE BOARD REVIEWED THE FOLLOWING MEMO: <br />TO: The Honorable Members of the DATE: August 25, 1981 FILE: <br />Board of County Commissioners <br />FROM: Nei 1 A. Nelson, <br />County Administrator <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />SUBJECT: Request for Final Plat Approval of <br />Genesea Subdivision located East of <br />Highway A -1-A along South Beach <br />REFERENCES: Robert F. Lloyd to Neil Nelson, <br />County Administrator, dated ,August <br />7, 1981 <br />The owner, Salama Development Corp., Robert F. Lloyd, agent, is requesting <br />Final Plat approval of Genesea Subdivision. The Engineer -of -Record has certified <br />that all required improvements have been completed in substantial accordance with <br />the approved Preliminary Plat and the Indian River County Subdivision Ordinance, <br />with the exception of an over -the -dune walkover structure. The owner has received <br />bids on this item and construction is about to commence. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />The County staff has reviewed the Final plat documents and inspected the <br />construction of improvements. All staff comments have been complied with,:how- <br />ever a statement from the owner has not yet been received certifying that no <br />outstanding indebtedness is due for required improvements. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS AND FUNDING <br />Based upon staff concurrance, it is recommended that Final Plat approval be <br />granted for Genesea Subdivision subject to the certification by the owner that no <br />outstanding indebtedness is due for required improvements. <br />item. <br />There are no funding considerations to be considered by the Board for this <br />ENGINEER ROBERT LLOYD REPORTED THAT THE PERMIT FOR THE DUNE <br />CROSS—OVER HAS BEEN APPLIED FOR BUT NOT RECEIVED AS YET, AND THEY <br />HAVE RECEIVED A BID ON IT FROM NETTO CONSTRUCTION AND ONE OTHER. <br />QUESTION AROSE AS TO THE REQUIREMENT FOR C ERITFICATION BY <br />OWNER THAT NO OUTSTANDING INDEBTEDNESS IS DUE FOR REQUIRED <br />IMPROVEMENTS, AND MR. LLOYD EXPLAINED THAT THE OWNERS ARE FROM <br />TANZANYIKA, AFRICA. <br />SEP 2 19814147 <br />
