ELLIOTT <br />FROM: David M. Rever REFERENCES: <br />Planning & Zoning Director <br />It is recommended that the date herein presented be given formal consideration <br />by the'County Commission. <br />1. Description and Conditions: <br />The County has been petitioned by Mr. Lawrence J. Elliott to release the five <br />foot drainage and utility easement lying between Lots 21 and 22, Block E, Oslo <br />Park Subdivision. <br />_The request has been reviewed by Southern Bell, Florida Power and Light, and <br />the Utility and R. 0. W. Departments. Planning and Zoning staff analysis, <br />which included a site visit, showed that drainage would be adequately handled <br />the existing front and rear swales. <br />?. Alternatives and Analysis: <br />Alternative A - To release the easement. This would allow Mr. Elliott to <br />construct a retail sales facility in the middle of the two -adjoining lots. <br />The release of the easement is not anticipated to have any adverse effect. <br />__-.'lternative B - To retain the easement would force the applicant to build two <br />=-retail sales facilities, which would not be economically feasible. <br />3. Recommendation: <br />Staff recommends the release of the easement lying between Lots 21 and 22, <br />!Block E, Oslo Park Subdivision, as outlined in Alternative A. ' <br />4. Distribution: R <br />Prepared for the County Administrator for his review and for distribution to <br />the Board of County Commissio-,2rs for their consideration on the consent agenda <br />of September 16, 1981. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER WODTKE, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />SCURLOCK, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTED RESOLUTION No. 81-78 APPROVING <br />RELEASE OF EASEMENT TO LAWRENCE J.
