MOTION WAS MADE BY COMMISSIONER SCURLOCK, SECONDED BY <br />COMMISSIONER BIRD, THAT THE BOARD ACCEPT THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE <br />COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR AS OUTLINED IN HIS MEMORANDUM DATED SEPTEMBER <br />23, 1981. <br />DISCUSSION ENSUED REGARDING FEES FOR ENGINEERING AND <br />DRAINAGE. IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE BOARD WOULD ASK FOR ENGINEERING <br />AND DRAINAGE FEES IN FUTURE PROJECTS, <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. IT WAS,VOTED ON <br />AND CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. <br />TRANSPORTATION DISADVANTAGED <br />THE BOARD REVIEWED THE FOLLOWING MEMORANDUM CONCERNING <br />THE CONTRACTS FOR INITIATION OF THE TRANSPORTATION DISADVANTAGED <br />SERVICES: <br />TO: THE HONORABLE MEMBERS OF ®ATE: September 22, 1981 FILE: <br />THE INDIAN RIVER COUNTY COMMISSIONS <br />SUBJECT: CONTRACTS FOR INITy'_ <br />THE TRANSPORTATION D.. <br />ADVANTAGED SERVICES <br />FROM: NEIL NELSON REFERENCES: <br />County Administrator <br />In accordance with Board approval and D.O. T. direction, the <br />Administration has negotiated a contract with Kimley-Horn in the <br />amount of $8.000. To prepare the subject study, this amount is <br />within the constraints of the grant offer by D.O.T. <br />The negotiations with Kimley-Horn included certain revisions to <br />their scope of work, Exhibit "A", in order to more specifically <br />address the requirements of the D.O.T. agreement with the County. <br />This agreement is also being submitted at this time for your <br />approval.
