This <br />taxing <br />unit <br />came about <br />as <br />a result of <br />dual taxation suits. Mr. Barton continued that the rollback <br />millage was 1.52388, and the tentative millage is 1.63589, <br />or a 7.35% increase over the rollback. In total dollars the <br />increase is 15.18%. The budget is $5,601,563, (this is less <br />than advertised) and it was $3,889,547 a year ago. In <br />1980 37.37% was funded by ad valorem dollars; this year <br />29.89%. User fees have picked up the difference. This fund <br />had approximately a $40,000 change since the last meeting. <br />The proposed millage to fund the budget is 1.65389. <br />11 <br />_I <br />
