(For determining the <br />efficiency of oil fired units, CF = 1.0 Q = total gallons <br />of oil consumed and H = total heating value of the oil in <br />Btu/gallon)." <br />(p) The italicized paragraph in paragraph (e) of Section 505.2 <br />U the energy code remains deleted. Said deleted para- <br />graph reads as follows: <br />"A single meter for the building can be installed to <br />determine power company charges with sub -metering for <br />each tenant to pro -rate the charges between tenants." <br />(q) Add the following after the last sentence of paragraph <br />602.2(a) at page 6-1 of the energy code: <br />"Charts 6-C and 6-D shall be used for Group R. buildings. <br />Thermal mass factor M - 0.8." <br />(r) Subparagraphs 1 and 2 of Subsection 603.3 on page 6-5 of <br />the energy code are hereby amended to read as follows: <br />"1. Where used to control heating only, a maximum <br />temperature setting of 72 F. <br />2. Where used to control cooling only, a minimum <br />temperature setting of 78 F." <br />(s) Add Chart 6-C by an inserted new page numbered 6-10.1 <br />following page 6-10 of the energy code. Add the following <br />sentence under the heading of said Chart -C: <br />"(Includes mass factor of 0.8)" <br />Also add Chart 6-D to the reverse side of said new page <br />6-10; number said reverse side page 6-10.2 and add <br />the following under t e heading of said Chart 6-D: <br />"includes mass factor of 0.8)" <br />(t) Add the following sentence as a new graph following <br />the last paragraph of Section 802.1 following the para- <br />graph referring to Column F) and immediately before <br />Section 802.2 at page 8-2 of the energy code: <br />"Infiltration need not be calculated as part of the <br />Design -Day Method." <br />(u) Alternate pages 1-2A, 1-4A, 5-15A, 5-16A, 5-17A, 6-4A, and <br />6-5A are not adopted by the County. Appendix Tables 6-1A <br />at page 6-11, 6-1B at page 6-12, 6-1C at page 6-13, 6-2 <br />and 6-3 both at page 6-14 as they existed on March 21, <br />1979 are deleted from the Indian River County Energy Code. <br />The State of Florida is now amending said Appendix <br />Tables. When each amended Appendix Table is adopted by <br />the State, each State adopted amendment shall automati- <br />cally become a part of the Energy Code as typical <br />assemblies, and which shall not be all inclusive. <br />Alternate Table 6-1B has been adopted by the State of <br />Florida and shall be inserted at page 6-12 of the <br />Energy Code as a typical assemblage. <br />(v) The Indian River County Board of Adjustments and <br />Appeals shall have jurisdiction over appeals from <br />decisions of the Building Official regarding the Indian <br />River County Energy Code and the standards therein. <br />
