It was suggested that the <br />Motion be amended to include the statement that any <br />assessment was not to exceed $800 for residential <br />connection. <br />The Motion was reworded by Commissioner Wodtke, <br />seconded by Commissioner Scurlock, to agree to set a value <br />on the used plant of $40,000 with $15,000 being the figure <br />estimated for moving costs; to include the additional <br />commercial property and F.I.T. property in the assessment <br />roll, the assessment not to exceed $800 for residential <br />connection; and to reach an agreement with the Town of <br />Indian River shores about collection of these fees on any <br />annexed property. <br />The Chairman called for the question. It was voted on <br />and carried 4 to 1 with Commissioner Fletcher voting in <br />opposition. <br />Intergovernmental Coordinator Thomas informed the Board <br />that he has had a discussion with First Bankers and they are <br />willing to accept tax anticipation notes against the <br />eventual assessment income from this project. <br />It was agreed that a Special Meeting would be called <br />for Monday, November.30, 1981, at 3:00 P.M. in the County <br />Courtroom to approve the finalized assessment figures and <br />act on awarding the contract. <br />There being no further business, on Motion made, <br />seconded and carried, the Board adjourned at 12:55 o'clock <br />P.M. <br />Attest: <br />Clerk <br />10 <br />�X4 <br />Chairman <br />I <br />
