(d) Off-street loading regulations. These requirements shall <br />apply to all commercial and industrial uses requiring the <br />receipt or distribution by service vehicles of materials <br />or merchandise: <br />(1) A minimum number of loading spaces or berths shall be <br />provided and maintained as follows: <br />Building(s) Size in Sq. Ft. No. of Spaces/Berths <br />Over 5,000 but not over 24,999 1 <br />25,000 59,999 2 <br />60,000 119,999 3 <br />120,000 199,999 4 <br />200,000 290,000 5 <br />(2) Loading spaces or berths shall have minimum dimensions <br />of fourteen (14) by thirty (30) feet, plus each space <br />or berth shall have an additional two hundred and <br />fifty (250) square feet of loading or manuevering <br />area immediately contiguous to the space or berth. <br />Service alleys or driveways shall have a minimum <br />width of twenty (20) feet. <br />(3) Any facility required to have loading facilities may <br />be permitted to have a drive of a size commensurate <br />with the requirements of delivery. <br />SECTION 2 <br />REPEAL OF CONFLICTING PROVISIONS <br />All previous ordinances, resolutions, or motions of the <br />Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida <br />which conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby <br />repealed to the extent of such conflict. All Special Acts of <br />the legislature applying only to the unincorporated portion of <br />Indian River County and which conflict with the provisions of <br />this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such <br />conflict. <br />SECTION 3 <br />INCORPORATION IN CODE <br />The provisions of this ordinance shall be incorporated into <br />the County Code and the word "ordinance" may be changed to <br />"section", "article", or other appropriate word, and the <br />sections of this ordinance may be renumbered or relettered to <br />accomplish such intentions. <br />SECTION 4 <br />SEVERABILITY <br />If any section, part of a sentence, paragraph, phrase or <br />word of this ordinance is for any reason held to be unconstitu- <br />tional, inoperative or void, such holdings shall not affect the <br />-6- <br />
