The time for hearing any complaints is <br />when adoption of the preliminary assessment roll is being <br />considered. He suggested that in the future this type of <br />resolution set out the method by which the assessment is to <br />be made. <br />Commissioner Wodtke suggested adopting the proposed <br />Resolution indicating a tentative preliminary cost of <br />$7,486.36 as the property owners' portion, to be assessed on <br />the basis of the front footage as outlined in Exhibit "A". <br />Attorney Collins did not feel the specific method of <br />assessment has to be agreed upon at this time, and he <br />recommended the Board adopt the Resolution as drafted and <br />direct the Administrator to come back with a report on <br />possible methods of assessment to be considered at the next <br />public hearing. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Wodtke, seconded by <br />Commissioner Scurlock, to adopt Resolution 81-105 as <br />written, and direct the staff to come back with a <br />recommendation as to an assessment method. <br />The matter of priorities in regard to use of the paving <br />funds was brought up, and Engineer Davis suggested that in <br />the next budget the funds for -the -paving program be <br />segregated from the Road & Bridge account and that we work <br />up to the point. <br />The Chairman called for the question.
