ORDINANCE NO. 85-88 (continued) <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that the Land Use <br />and Transportation Elements of the Comprehensive Plan of Indian <br />River County, Florida, and the accompanying Land Use Map and <br />Thoroughfare,.Plan, be amended as follows: <br />SECTION 1 <br />That page 35 of the text of the Land Use Element of the <br />Comprehensive Plan be amended to read as follows: <br />An €€€ty--(-54H eighty-five (85) acre, commercialf}ndustrial <br />node is located east of U.S. °,1 betHeen-3Fort-�r€cl-Read-and <br />6entk--Gi€€o- -itoa� at the intersection of U.S. 41 and North <br />Gifford Road. <br />SECTION 2 <br />That page 36 of the text of the Land Use Element of the <br />Comprehensive Plan be amended to read as follows: <br />An eighty -+&9+ ten (10) acre co=ercial node is located on <br />the east side of U.S. #1 at the proposed intersection of Storm <br />Grove Road. <br />SECTION 3 <br />That a commercial node be created and the description of the <br />node be added to page 36 of the text of the Land Use Element of <br />the Comprehensive Plan to read as follo7ws: <br />A sixty-five (65) acre tourist/cc.-_-ercial node is located on <br />the west side of the Indian River at its aporoxinate intersection <br />with the 49th Street extension. <br />SECTION 4 <br />That the Transportation Element of the Comprehensive <br />Plan be amended by deleting 49th Street between Indian River <br />Boulevard and U.S. 1 from the Thoroughfare Plan. <br />SECTION 5 <br />EFFECTIVE DATE <br />The provisions of this ordinance shall become effective <br />upon receipt from the Florida Secretary of State of official <br />acknowledgement that this ordinance has been filed with the <br />Department of State. <br />Code: Words in streek--threegh type are deletions from <br />existing law; words underlined are additions. <br />
