A public meeting was held at 11:00 A.M., December 1, 1981 in the County Adminis- <br />trator's Office, 2345 14th Ave., Vero Beach, F1. This meeting was advertised in <br />the Vero Beach Press Journal on Oct. 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, Nov. 1, 1981. The purpose <br />of this meeting was to open and record the following bid: <br />IRC 1106 - (1) Pneumatic Tire Roller <br />2. 9 Bid Proposals were sent out, 9 were received (2 bidders submitted 2 proposals and <br />3 were no bids). <br />Linder'Industrial Machinery (Ingram) $26,956.00 <br />Linder Industrial Machinery (Tampo) 33,563.00 <br />F1 - Ga Tractor (Galion) from stock, <br />subject to prior sale 27,750.00 <br />F1 - Ga Tractor (Galion) 30,338.00 <br />M. D. Moody (Bros) 27,834.00 <br />H. F. Mason (Hyster) 30,720.00 <br />All bidders met minimum specifications. <br />3. The Bid Committee recommends this b.jd be awarded to the low bidder, Linder Industrial <br />Machinery for the Ingram. There is $35,000.00 budgeted for this piece of equipment <br />from Account 1102-214-541-66-43. <br />On Motion by Commissioner Bird, seconded by <br />Commissioner Wodtke, the Board unanimously accepted the bid <br />of Linder Industrial Machinery (Ingram) for one pneumatic <br />tire roller, as being the lowest and. best bid meeting <br />specifications, in the amount of $26,956.00. <br />- 4= <br />
