ordinance. <br />em 48 PA,F499 <br />Attorney Brandenburg read the title of the <br />Chairman Scurlock explained what the procedure <br />would be for the public hearing: First there would be the <br />presentation by the staff of the Land Use Element; then <br />questions will be asked by the Board, and then the public <br />will have an opportunity to be heard. <br />Art Challacombe, Senior Planner, presented the <br />past history of the Comprehensive Land Use Plan and advised <br />that as a result of the numerous meetings conducted over the <br />past few months, the Planning Department had developed <br />policies for all the specific uses and the classifications. <br />He then stated that staff recommended approval and that the <br />Board adopt the draft of the Land Use Element and the Land <br />Use Map. <br />The Board then proceeded to review the Land Use <br />Element, page by page, and after careful study, refined it <br />by making appropriate changes on pages 3, 5, 6, 11, 12, and <br />15. <br />The Chairman asked if there was anyone present who <br />wished to be heard. - <br />Evelyn Neville, Drawer -3327, Vero Beach, came <br />forward and reviewed the following information with the <br />Board: <br />8= — <br />-I <br />
