He continued that the consulting engineers <br />could be authorized to proceed with the design of the 2z" <br />water main and ground storage tank. <br />The Board briefly discussed the agreement they <br />have with the City of Vero Beach. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Lyons, seconded by <br />Commissioner Bird, that the Board approve the report and the <br />recommendation, as pointed out in the memorandum of January <br />15, 1982. <br />The Chairman called for the question. It was <br />voted on and carried with a vote of 4 to 1, with <br />Commissioner Fletcher voting in opposition. <br />MOSQUITO CONTROL DISTRICT <br />On Motion by Commissioner Wodtke, seconded -''by <br />Commissioner Lyons, the Board unanimously approved E. J. <br />Beidler as the designated Registered Agent for Indian River <br />Mosquito Control District. <br />PUBLIC HEARING - WASTE MANAGEMENT, INC. OF FLA. <br />Attorney Brandenburg stated that staff has recommended <br />this Public Hearing be postponed until the next meeting, as <br />there have not been many responses received; the staff <br />wanted to send out questionnaires. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Wodtke, seconded <br />by Commissioner Bird, that the Public Hearing be continued <br />until the next regularly scheduled County Commission <br />Meeting. <br />Commissioner Lyons requested that the Board have <br />its meeting on Tuesday, February 2, 1982 in order to avoid a <br />conflict of a meeting with the Florida Association of County <br />Commissioners that he felt the Board should attend in <br />Daytona Beach on February 3rd. The Board agreed. <br />Mr. Harris, of Waste Management, interjected that <br />he was in agreement with the change in date. <br />12 <br />
