JAN 2 01982. eaoh 8 PAGES` <br />On Motion by Commissioner Bird, seconded by <br />Commissioner Lyons, the Board unanimously approved the <br />addition of the three emergency items. <br />PROCLAMATION <br />On Motion by Commissioner Lyons, seconded by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously approved the <br />following Proclamation for Eugene F. Hamilton: <br />P R <br />O <br />C <br />L <br />A <br />M <br />A <br />T <br />I <br />O <br />N <br />WHEREAS, EUGENE F. HAMILTON has retired effective the first <br />day of January, 1982 as Assistant to the Director of the Public <br />Works Department of Indian River County, Florida; and <br />WHEREAS, EUGENE F. HAMILTON began work with Indian River <br />County Road and Bridge Department on August 1, 1950 and has been <br />a diligent and capable employee of Indian River County since that <br />time; and <br />WHEREAS, EUGENE F. HAMILTON started work as a Truck Drive <br />and eight years later was promoted to the position of <br />Superintendent of the Road and Bridge Department, a title which <br />he held for twenty-three years, for a total of over thirty one <br />years of dedicated service to this County; and <br />WHEREAS, EUGENE F. HAMILTON has had a thorough <br />understanding of the work he pdrformed and during his time of <br />employment was a"very loyal and conscientious employee; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAI14ED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, hereby expresses <br />their gratitude to EUGENE F. HAMILTON for his fine employment <br />record and contribution to Indian River County; and <br />BE IT FURTHER PROCLtiAIMED that the Board expresses and <br />extends to EUGENE F.
