They had no clearly defined, voted upon, policy of <br />the County Commision, they just hadn't received it, even though <br />they had tried. She said personally she felt if this went before <br />the County Commission and got things resolved (whether they would <br />allow a bridge there) on'ce.this was solved, no matter what they <br />heard tonight would have to be rehear it in to -.to. She commented <br />she --had letters at home that she hadn't brought and hadn't received <br />the final information from the Planning Department. She said they <br />had distributed the letters that had been sent; the copy of the ease- <br />ment and things like that; but what concerned her the most would be <br />to hear it would be in essence saying, "We know what the decision of <br />the County Commission will be, therefore,we will go ahead and hear it," <br />She stated it was aomewhat similar to the Commissions`.reaction,to our <br />doing something contingent on a decision, earlier. She said they <br />simply needed to wait to see what they said; to hear it now would be <br />a waste of everyone's time that was here tonight; if they heard it,and <br />nothing positive would happen. <br />Mr. Henderson was concerned about the Planning Department <br />not including a site plan package in the Board's packets that evening; <br />in essence, the Director of the Planning Department was making their <br />decision for them. <br />Mr. Jones said that was his point to the Attorney, <br />Mrs. Goetzfried stated the staff was, hopeful the Board had <br />retained their original site plan package and the Chairman said they <br />had but they would need a more recent site plan with all the added <br />corrections on it. <br />Mr. Henderson addressed the Board again and said their <br />concern was having been to four or five meetings before this Board, <br />his clients still had not been given the opportunity to be heard <br />and this could drag on to May. He said he had submitted drafts of <br />an agreement to the County Attorney's office weeks ago; and asked <br />why this Board could not make recommendations to the County Commission <br />as to whether they thought a drawbridge should be installed on Jungle <br />Trail. He asked what this Board thought about access being dedicated <br />or an easement created.
