INDIAN RIVER COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 83-25 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN <br />RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA ESTABLISHING A NEW ZONING DISTRICT TO <br />BE KNOWN AS THE HEAVY COMMERCIAL, C-2 DISTRICT; CREATING <br />SECTION 20.1 OF APPENDIX A TO THE CODE OF LAWS AND ORDINANCES <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, KNOWN AS THE COUNTY'S <br />ZONING CODE; PROVIDING FOR SPECIAL EXCEPTION USES; BUILDING <br />HEIGHT LIMITS, LOT COVERAGE AND YARD SETBACK REQUIREMENTS; <br />PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; CODIFICATION; <br />SEVERABILITY; AND EFFECTIVE DATE <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: <br />SECTION 1 <br />Section 20.1 of Appendix A to the Code of Laws and <br />Ordinances of Indian River County, Florida, known as the Zoning <br />Code, is hereby created to read as follows: <br />Section 20.1 C-2, Heavy Commercial District: <br />(a) Special Exceptions. The following uses may be <br />permitted by the County Zoning Commission after site plan <br />approval according to Section 23. <br />(1) Automobile Cleaning Businesses <br />(2) Bakeries, wholesale, including large scale <br />preparation <br />(3) Boat Sales, Service and Rental Establishments <br />(4) Commercial Nurseries or Greenhouses <br />(5) Commercial and Private Parking Lots and <br />Parking Garages, where parking is the primary use of the <br />facility <br />(6) Drive -In Bank Facilities <br />(7) Drive -In Restaurants <br />(8) Drive -In Theaters <br />(9) Feed and Hay Stores for Animals and Stock <br />(10) Flea Markets <br />(11) Fruit and Vegetable Packing Houses (not includ- <br />inq processing plants) <br />(12) Funeral Homes and Crematoriums <br />(13) Gasoline and/or Service Stations <br />(14) Kennels, where outdoor shelters for animals are <br />provided <br />
