Kelton Report <br />The Board considered the following Staff <br />Recommendations to the Kelton Report: <br />STAFF- RTECOM1,1ENDAT IONS TO THE KE LTON REPORT <br />Staff recommends ad.ap.tation of Kelton Report Organizational <br />chart, but departmental structure is as follows: <br />General ;services <br />Personznel, Safety '-"raining <br />Purchasing <br />Building and Grounds <br />Fleet Management <br />Community Development <br />Planning <br />Special Programs <br />Building <br />Zoning <br />Public Protection <br />Health <br />Disaster Preparedness <br />Fire <br />Public Works <br />Engineering Services <br />Doad & Bridge <br />Traffic <br />Coim,iunity Service <br />Special Services <br />Leisure Services <br />Environmental Services <br />General Services Department <br />aurcha:sing Division - name to remain Purchasing <br />and not referred to as ��_aterial Management <br />Building and Grounds - name to remain Building and <br />and Grounds and not referred to as Facilities Maintenance <br />Fleet Management Division - this division should fall <br />under General Services Department <br />Data Processing Division. - should be placed on the <br />County Adminstrator within the General Services Depart- <br />ment, staff recommends also the Budget Officer to <br />fall in this category. <br />Public Protection <br />Staff <br />within <br />Department <br />includes,Health, <br />this Department. <br />Disaster Preparedness and Fire <br />Fire - Staff recommends that the liaison responsibility <br />rest with the management of the Public Protection <br />Department and not the County Administrator to m intain <br />liaison with both districts. This position can be <br />filled by the Civil Defbnse Director. <br />4. Public {corks Department <br />Staff prefers this department to include Engi cering, <br />Road and Bridge and '_raffic. <br />5.
