Nelson dated Jan. 14, 1982 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Luarel Builders is requesting release of 30% of the $65,138.05 cash per- <br />formance bond posted in August, 1981 for paving and drainage improvement <br />at Laurelwood Unit 4 Subdivision. The County released 60% of the Bond in <br />October, 1981 ($39,082.83). This request involves releasing $19,541.41 <br />which would leave $6,513.81 (10%) in escrow to cover final discrepancy items. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />The County staff inspected the site on February 9, 1982, and the paving <br />and drainage improvements are substantially complete. Minor grassing work <br />remains which would be covered by the $6,513.81 remaining in escrow. The <br />County has also received all required density and bearing value test reports <br />as specified in the County's Subdivision Ordinance. These reports indicate <br />that the work is acceptable. <br />RECO'1ENDATIONS AND FUNDING <br />Since the paving and drainage improvements to Laurelwood Unit 4 are <br />substantially complete, it is recommended that the County release $19,541.41, <br />thereby retaining 10% of the original cash bond for miscellaneous discrepancy <br />items. <br />On Motion by Commissioner Fletcher, seconded by <br />Commissioner Wodtke, the Board unanimously accepted the <br />recommendation of the' Administrator and authorized the <br />Finance Office to release $19,541.41 of the Performance Bond <br />for Laurelwood Unit 4. <br />BID #108 - PICKUP TRUCK <br />Administrator Nelson reviewed the following Bid <br />recommendation: <br />16 <br />
