Wednesday, P -larch 3, 1982 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, met in Regular Session at the Board of <br />County Commission Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, <br />Florida, on Wednesday, March 3, 1982, at 8:30 o'clock A.M. <br />Present were Don C. Scurlock, Jr., Chairman; Alfred Grover <br />Fletcher, Vice Chairman; Dick Bird; Patrick B. Lyons; and <br />William C. Wodtke, Jr. Also present were Neil A. Nelson, <br />County Administrator; L. S. "Tommy" Thomas, <br />Intergovernmental Coordinator; Gary Brandenburg, Attorney to <br />the Board of County Commissioners Jeffrey K. Barton, <br />Finance Director; Dan Fleischman, Bailiff; and Virginia <br />Hargreaves and Janice Caldwell, Deputy Clerks. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Administrator Nelson led the Pledge of Allegiance to <br />the Flag, and Reverend Delmas Copeland, First United <br />Methodist Church, gave the invocation. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Attorney Brandenburg requested adding an item <br />concerning Treasure Coast & Ixora Utilities. <br />On Motion by Commissioner Lyons, seconded by <br />Commissioner Wodtke, the Board unanimously agreed to add <br />Treasure Coast & Ixora Utilities as an emergency item. <br />Commissioner Fletcher requested adding an item under <br />the North County Fire items regarding an appointment of <br />James Cain. <br />On Motion made by Commissioner Fletcher, seconded by <br />Commissioner Lyons, the Board unanimously agreed to add the <br />appointment of James Cain as an emergency item under the <br />North County Fire District. <br />Commissioner Wodtke requested adding an item regarding <br />Mr. Todd. <br />MAR 3 1982 oK 9 P cE 13' <br />
