MAR 17 1982 .49 <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Fletcher, seconded by <br />Commissioner Bird, that the Board accept Alternate 1 in the - <br />memorandum dated March 8, 1982, as recommended by the County <br />Engineer. <br />Commissioner Bird stated that the County Attorney had <br />outlined the rules to the Board, based on the agreement with <br />FP&L, <br />but he still <br />did <br />not like having <br />the poles in the <br />front <br />yards of the <br />Vero <br />Beach Highlands <br />residents. <br />Commissioner Wodtke wished there was something the <br />Board could do, but they do not have a mechanism for this <br />type of situation. He then asked Mr. Schindehette to <br />reevaluate the pole and anchor situation on Mr. Smith's <br />property <br />to see if something else <br />could be <br />done. <br />Mr. <br />Schindehette" responded <br />that the <br />Board had his <br />commitment that FP&L would look into the matter and try to <br />come up with a solution. <br />Chairman Scurlock stated that the Board accepted the <br />fact that FP&L would take another look at the anchor poles. <br />The Chairman called for the question.
