Administrator <br />SUBJECT: Use of Remaining FmHA <br />Obligated Water Monies <br />':ROM: George ? i ner. •R _ , ENCES: <br />Utilities Manager <br />f <br />Our Engineering Consultant, Mr. John Robbins, has received additions' <br />communication from Farmers Home Administration's State Office with regard <br />to the 2.6 .9 11ion dollar loan application which has recently been submitted. <br />Mr. Tom Brown., a special loan officer in the Community Programs section, <br />indicated to Mr. Robbins there was an additional $58,000 of water monies <br />over and above that amount requested. Mr. Brown requested to include <br />the additional $58,000 in the application. As it was the intention of <br />our consultant and approved by the Board, to use all remaining 5% water <br />monies, FmHA was given authorization to include the additional funds. <br />This matter was discussed by staff and -it was felt it was in the <br />+County's best interest to include the additional loan monies. FmHA was <br />instructed to show the additional funds being`utilized for plant expansion. <br />Further, FmHA indicated this activity would not delay the issuance <br />of the Letter of Conditions.
