He questioned the <br />classification of Wabasso Bridge as a collector road when it <br />is the main route to the State Park at Sebastian Inlet, <br />which is one of the most widely used parks in the state, and <br />noted that it is very difficult for the County even to find <br />If <br />an engineer qualified to test this bridge. <br />Senator Maxwell felt he could be of help in the <br />classification aspect, but noted the bottom line is that the <br />dollars are short and unless there is an upturn in the <br />economy, he did not believe a whole lot is going to happen <br />regarding funding. <br />DISCUSSION RE OFFICE SPACE FOR SENATOR MAXWELL <br />Representative Patchett informed the Board that in his <br />office space on the third floor of the County Administration <br />Building, he ended up with an office you can only get to by <br />going through his office, which space is not being used <br />presently. He felt it would be beneficial for all concerned <br />for the Senator and Representative to be able to work <br />closely together and suggested that Senator Maxwell be <br />allowed to utilize this space for his office. <br />The Board had no objection to this suggestion. <br />Senator Maxwell expressed his appreciation. <br />Chairman Scurlock thanked the Senator for taking the <br />time to visit with the Commission. <br />FIRE DISTRICT MEETINGS <br />Chairman Scurlock announced that the South County Fire <br />District had met earlier this morning and promptly upon <br />adjournment of the County Commission meeting, the <br />2'. <br />
