AY MJ 9 <br />i98� <br />ATTACHMENT Al <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES. <br />TASK 1 CONCEPTUAL DESIGN PLAN <br />1.1 The ENGINEER shall develop a conceptual design plan for adding an addi- <br />tional lift to Segment No. 1 at the Indian River County Sanitary Landfill. This <br />concept design shall consider final land form, site drainage improvements, and <br />vegetative screening. The ENGINEER shall prepare and provide the OWNER with <br />a reproducible sketch of the conceptual design plan showing a plot plan layout <br />and a typical cross section through Segment No. 1. <br />TASK 2 DESIGN/OPERATION PLANS. <br />2.1 The ENGINEER shall prepare preliminary (75 percent complete) design/opera- <br />tional plans for Segment No. 1 which conform to DER requirements for submission <br />of an application for a permit to construct/operate a Class I sanitary landfill, <br />and which are in accordance with the approved conceptual design plans developed <br />under Task 1. Specifically, eadh set of plans shall include: <br />a) A title sheet with a map locating the site in relation to major thorough- <br />fares and local landmarks. <br />b) A mylar reproducible aerial photo and topograph-of the site and the <br />surrounding area, which has a scale of one inch equals 200 feet and <br />contour intervals of not more .than 2 feet, which was taken within the <br />last six months, and which shows land use and zoning within 1/4 mile of <br />the site. <br />c) A plot plan of the site showing dimensions, proposed-filling'sequence, <br />original elevations, and cover stockpiles. The scale of the plot plan <br />shall not be greater than one inch equals 200 feet. <br />d) A cross section and detail sheet showing original and proposed fill <br />elevations, drainage system design, vegetative screening, etc. <br />
