He noted that the same system is used for the entire <br />first floor of the County Administration Building also, and <br />we have experienced no problems with it. <br />In further discussion, it was noted that DHRS will come <br />back and make more tests for formaldehyde if we insist. <br />Commissioner Bird felt we should insist. <br />Dr. Hardin reported that they are looking into some <br />type of tab that can be worn on a lapel to indicate the <br />level of formaldehyde in a particular area. <br />Some discussion followed as to the threatening tone of <br />Judge Smith's letter. <br />Maintenance Supervisor Williams reported that the <br />non -allergenic carpet has been installed in Judge <br />Stikelether's office in the Welfare Building for two weeks, <br />but they have had no comment from the Judge as yet. He <br />stated that he wrote the Judge on Monday requesting a reply. <br />Mr. Williams commented that Judge Stikelether has been <br />experiencing a problem in City Hall also. <br />Commissioner Bird felt it is important that Dr. Hardin <br />reply to Judge Smith's letter, and Dr. Hardin stated that he <br />has not answered it because he wanted to discuss it with the <br />Commissioners first. <br />Discussion ensued about any pigeon problem, and Mr. <br />Williams agreed that there was a previous problem about <br />pigeons being in the old system. <br />The ductwork was analyzed <br />
