REFERENCES: <br />Public Works Dire 1tor <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />The Traffic Division is in need of replacing two vehicles which are due for <br />major rebuilding. The 1975 Chevrolet sign truck is presently burning oil, <br />has been driven over 100,000 miles, has been on fire previously, and will require <br />much maintenance within the next 6 months. The Traffic Engineer's vehicle is a <br />1973 Ford Maverick. Metal fatigue, rusting, and repair work has been identified <br />by the Vehicle Maintenance Division for this vehicle. - <br />Also, since the Traffic Division was initiated October, 1981, other minor capital <br />items have been identified which could be purchased with currently budgeted Road <br />and Bridge funds. <br />i <br />
