TSCHINKEL <br />SECRETARY <br />ALEX SENKEVICH <br />DISTRICT MANAGER <br />I am requesting to make a presentation to the Commission on June <br />2, 1982, at 11:00 A.M., for the purpose of discussing the proposed <br />Consent Order that is presently pending between Florida Department <br />of Environmental Regulation and Indian River County, in regard to <br />the sewage treatment facility at Dixie Gardens, that was pre- <br />viously owned by Treasure Coast Utilities, Inc. The item of <br />particular consideration has to do with the chlorination of the <br />raw effluent for this facility. <br />Honoring my request would: be greatly appreciated. <br />Sincerely, <br />L. Kozlov, DER District Enforcement Chief, came <br />•4 <br />before the Board and expressed concern over one item in the <br />consent order, between the DER and the Board, regarding the <br />disinfection of the effluent from the present Treasure Coast <br />Utilities system. He explained that there was little or no <br />treatment going on at the facility since it was turned over <br />to the receiver.
