Wednesday, June 9, 1982 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, met in Special Session at the County <br />Commission Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, <br />on Wednesday, June 9, 1982, at 8:30 o'clock A.M. Present <br />were Don C. Scurlock, Jr., Chairman; Alfred Grover Fletcher, <br />Vice Chairman; Dick Bird; Patrick B. Lyons; and William C. <br />Wodtke, Jr. Also present were C. B. Hardin, Acting <br />Administrator; L.S. "Tommy" Thomas, Community Services <br />Director; Gary Brandenburg, Attorney to the Board of County <br />Commissioners,; and Janice Caldwell, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Chairman Scurlock led the Pledge of Allegiance to the <br />Flag. <br />EVALUATION OF COUNTY ATTORNEY <br />The Chairman reviewed his memorandum dated <br />June 3, 1982, as follows.: <br />TO: Board of County .,.DATE: June 3, 1982 FILE: <br />Commissioners <br />SUBJECT: Evaluation of County Attorney <br />FROM: Don C. Scurlock, Jr. REFERENCES: <br />I have personally conducted an evaluation of Gary Brandenburg, <br />County Attorney. At the time he was hired for this position, he <br />was told he would have a six month evaluation and receive a 5% <br />—increase in salary. <br />I feel he has delivered outstanding service, and I feel he should <br />receive an additional 2% merit increase, making a total of 7% <br />increase in salary, or a yearly amount.of $40,660.10. <br />I encourage each Commissioner to talk to Mr. Brandenburg, <br />and have placed this on the agenda for June 9 for consideration <br />by the Board. <br />JUN 9 1982 s oK 49 p 'C' ��� <br />
