Otober 1st, which would mean a few months' further delay for <br />them. <br />Dr. Hardin felt the School Board might be able to work <br />with them in the interim period, and possibly they could <br />work out something with our concurrence. <br />Vice Chairman asked if the Motion intends that staff <br />will prepare a plan of maintenance, security, etc., in the <br />interim, and Commissioner Bird felt that is implied. <br />In further discussion, Community Services Director <br />Thomas noted that the Road & Bridge Department would like <br />consideration of the possibility of a sub -station there, <br />which could aid on the security aspect. <br />Dr. Hardin noted that Commission Wodtke has put in a <br />great deal of time on this matter and he did not know if he <br />has time to continue further. He suggested that the Board <br />might wish to direct Administration to deal with this. <br />Vice Chairman Fletcher asked if there is any opposi- <br />tion to the Administrator continuing negotiations or working <br />for a smoother transition of the Douglas Elementary School <br />property re maintenance, security, insurance, etc. <br />Commissioner Wodtke stated that he will be glad to <br />work on this with the Administration any time, but he did <br />not want to put the Administrator in a position where he <br />would be allocating space until we have an overall plan. He <br />then discussed problems of security relating to the wooden <br />structure that the medical group wishes to utilize.
