The second meeting is the opportunity <br />for the Board to hear other speakers present their case and <br />the opportunity for the Board to adopt the Plan as an <br />Ordinance with whatever modifications are desired. <br />Discussion continued as to the time required to deal <br />with each item, and Commissioner Lyons believed there well <br />could be a need for a third hearing. He suggested <br />withholding action on any items at the first meeting, which <br />would give Commissioner Wodtke an opportunity to review the <br />record of the meeting and enable him to be effective at the <br />second hearing. <br />Vice Chairman Fletcher stated that he would be <br />agreeable with not taking action until the second hearing. <br />Mr. Reider questioned whether it was anticipated there <br />might be a large enough crowd to warrant moving to a larger <br />building, and it was not felt this would be necessary. <br />Attorney Brandenburg noted that the first public <br />hearing is a joint meeting with the Planning & Zoning <br />Commission; the law requires that they make a <br />recommendation. <br />RESOLUTION 82-58 - COMMENDING KIM MOYER FOR HER WORK RE <br />DEVELOPMENT OF ROUND ISLAND PARK <br />ON MOTION made by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Lyons, the Board unanimously <br />adopted Resolution 82-58, commending Kim Moyer <br />of the University of Florida School of Landscape <br />Architecture for her study of Round Island Park, <br />copies of the Resolution to be forwarded to <br />Ms. Moyer and the University. <br />JUN 16 1982 8QUK . , PR6E l <br />110 <br />
