JUN 16 1982 <br />000K 50 PAu 20 <br />An on-site supervisor, an employee of Indian River County, must be responsible <br />for coordination of assignment with the J.A.S.P. Counselor. There are certain <br />rules -and regulations each youth and his parent must agree to and sign a <br />release form absolving the job site from all liability in case of an accident. <br />Staff feels this is a worthwhile program and there is adequate and varied <br />tasks to warrant providing an on-site supervisor and work site. - <br />RECOMMENDATIONS AND FUNDING <br />Staff recommends the following: <br />1. The Chairman be authorized to sign the J.A.S.P. Contract. <br />2. Maintenance Foreman, Rex Myers, be assigned additional duties of <br />providing work site and on site supervision. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner'Lyons, SECONDED <br />by.Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously <br />accepted staff's recommendation that the <br />Chairman be authorized to sign the JASP <br />contract; that Rex Myers be assigned additional <br />duties of providing work site and on site <br />supervision, as indicated in the June 8, 1982 <br />memorandum from Lynn Williams. <br />i <br />
