Davis, P.E. <br />Public Works Director <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />REFERENCES: Don Finney, Engineering Technician <br />to Jim Davis, dated May 25, 1982 <br />The paving of 14th Avenue between 7th Street and 8th Street is complete. <br />The original cost estimate for the work was $9,981.88. The final cost for <br />the paving was $9,948.00, which is under the original estimate by $33'.88. <br />The Final assessment roll has been prepared and is ready to be delivered to <br />the Clerk to the Board. Assessments are to be paid within 30 days or in two <br />equal installments, the first due within 30 days after delivery to the Clerk's <br />Office and the second payment due one year thereafter. The approved interest <br />rate is 12% per annum. <br />ALTERNATIVE AND ANALYSIS <br />Since the final assessment to the benefitted owners will be less than <br />than computed on the preliminary assessment roll, the only alternative presented <br />is to approve the final assessment roll. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS AND FUNDING ' <br />It is recommended that the final assessment roll for the paving of 14th <br />Avenue be approved by the Board of County Commissioners and that it be trans- <br />mitted to the Office of the Clerk to the Board for collection. <br />JUN 16 1982 <br />36 <br />7 <br />.
