JUN 16 1992 <br />BOOK 5.0 Fact 3$ , <br />MOTION was made by Commissioner Lyons, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Bird, that the <br />Board approve the final assessment roll <br />for the paving of 14th Avenue, and that <br />it be transmitted to the Office of the <br />Clerk to°the Board for collection. <br />Commissioner Wodtke inquired when the work was <br />completed. <br />Mr. Davis advised that the asphalt work was completed <br />in February but there was a period of time they had to wait <br />for other companies to submit their final paper work. <br />THE VICE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. <br />It was voted on and carried unanimously. <br />REQUEST TO TRANSFER SR -512 FROM STATE TO COUNTY <br />The Board discussed the memorandum dated June 1, 1982 <br />from Public Works Director Davis, as follows: <br />TO: The Honorable Members of the DATE: Jule 1, 1982 FILE: <br />Board of County Commissioners <br />THRU: C.B. Hardin, SUBJECT: Transfer of SR 512 From State to <br />Assistant County Administrator County Jurisdiction <br />FROM: James W. Davis, PE REFERENCES: William K. Fowler, P.E. , Florida <br />Public Works DirectioD.O.T. to Honorable Don C. Scurlock <br />Public Works Directo Chairman, dated May 21, 1982 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />The Florida D.O.T. has completed widening, resurfacing, shoulder, and <br />related improvements to SR 512. At this time, the State plans to proceed with <br />transferring the road to County jurisdiction. The District IV DOT office has <br />recommended to the Secretary of Transportation approval of this transfer on June <br />25, 1982. If the Secretary approves this action, the road transfer will occur <br />and the County will assume maintenance of the 4.3 mile section between CR 510 <br />and SR 5. <br />
