Box 1208 <br />Vero Beach, Florida 32960 <br />Dear Mr. Sexton: <br />50 <br />May 25, 1982 <br />Thank you for your recent letter to the Secretary of <br />the, Army requesting that the feasibility report for beach <br />erosion for Indian River County be forwarded to the Con- <br />gress. <br />This project is one of many water resources development <br />reports we are currently reviewing to assure implementa- <br />b.i_lity and compatibility with the Administrations cost <br />sharing policies. As part of this review we will be contact- <br />ing project sponsors to solicit expressions of willingness <br />and capability to meet our current cost sharing goals. I <br />expect the report on the Indian River County project, along <br />with many others, to move forward within the next several <br />months. " <br />I appreciate your interest, and I will do my best to <br />get thi.s report to the Congress as soon as it has received <br />the Administration's clearance. <br />Sincerely, <br />William R. Gianelli <br />Assistant Secretary of the Army <br />(Civil Works) <br />Mr. Sexton next advised that the Committee, the City <br />and the County all previously agreed to adopt the Corps of <br />Engineers' report and their recommendation of placing sand <br />on tho beach, as per the following resolution: <br />
