of the date of the public hearing so they will have an <br />opportunity to review the ordinance and supply input. <br />Commissioner Lyons noted that the proposed ordinance <br />does not mention the previous District and wondered if -there <br />shouldn't be something on the record stating that the <br />taxing unit would supersede the District. <br />Attorney Brandenburg explained that the previous Rock <br />Ridge Subdivision Street Lighting District was set up by <br />referendum and to dissolve it, you would have to have a <br />referendum. However, if a Municipal Service Unit is set up, <br />the Secretary of State will automatically dissolve the <br />District after a number of years. In regard to the <br />exceptions listed in Section 5, the Attorney noted these <br />were existing so he inclgded them and felt they could be <br />discussed at the public hearing. <br />Commissioner Bird inquired about the Rock Ridge <br />Property Owners building, which he did not believe they <br />owned, and the Attorney stated that they would research this <br />question. <br />THE VICE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. <br />It was voted on and carried unanimously. <br />INSURANCE LIMITS ON GARBAGE FRANCHISES <br />The Board reviewed the following recommendation of the <br />County Attorney: <br />JUN 16 1982 <br />84 <br />Fog PaE !. <br />
